The Freedom Tower

Tower Outsourced

Even the newest symbol of American patriotism – the Freedom Tower – and the material being used to erect this monument where our greatest tragedy occurred isn’t the sacred property Americans are suppose to believe it to be. Blogger Ryan Northcott – Ryan Northcott.com complains that even some of the steel being raise at the site were out sourced. “Jesus, even the Freedom Tower is outsourced,” Northcott says. “One would think the most watched construction site in the world would use American products. Apparently not … money talks. Why are we out sourcing America? I use to think Lou Dobbs was a crazy man but you know he might be on to something”

  1. We’re out sourcing America because we have lost our sense of self. We citizens of the United States need to decide how our actions and exchanges of ideas truly reflect our basic beliefs. If we are the creative, conscientious, free people that we wish to convey to the world, then we need to illustrate this in every way that we present ourselves.

In other words, we need to retrieve our governmental power even if that means rethinking our allegiances to specific parties and set an example for future generations.

For instance, there are people, young and old, born in this country, who need help. Environmental conditions in this world need careful evaluation. Academic concepts need to be taught in ways that are relevant to students, who can only perceive the relevance if they are witness to the truth. We must present this truth in a manner that challenges our youth and citizenry to reach higher standards of altruistism, focusing on desire for excellence and effective contribution.

Therefore, we citizens need to take action to open minds and let the world recognize the beauty, which is America. Those individuals, who are willing to pay for space in the Freedom Tower, should do so at a cost that includes altruistic contribution as a necessary requirement.

To draw American industry’s attention, there needs to be an active campaign, showing that this Freedom Tower is representative of our nation’s highest ideals and insisting that the new tenants actively contribute to the betterment of our nation and ultimately, to themselves, as tenants of our Freedom Tower and as stewards of the earth.
